These fun pastry roll-ups are as easy as pie to make – easier than pie even! It only uses four ingredients, and it will be a sure winner with the kids.
1 sheet puff pastry sheet
10 pork frankfurters
2 tsp American mild mustard (optional)
1 egg, lightly beaten
- Preheat oven to 200˚C and line a baking tray with baking paper for easy clean-up.
- Cut pastry into 2-3cm-wide strips. If using mustard, spread a little onto each strip. Wrap around frankfurters, leaving a little space between each turn of the spiral, and place on the prepared baking tray. Brush egg over the pastry on each roll up. Bake until puffed, golden and warmed through (about 20 minutes). Serve hot.
