Enjoy a breakfast with enough energy to get you through to lunch, whilst also being low GI. With orange, prunes and nuts on top, it's a fruity morning delight.
30 g (⅓ cup) rolled oats
200 ml low-fat milk
60 ml (¼ cup) water
10 g chopped dried pitted prunes
10 g chopped walnuts
1 small orange, peeled and cut into segments
- Cook rolled oats, milk and water in a small saucepan over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Serve with prunes, walnuts and a small orange, peeled, cut into segments.
