Pizza Friday couldn't be simpler with this classic, kid-friendly pizza
6 wholemeal pita pockets
⅓ cup pizza sauce (80 ml)
6 light cheese slices
fresh basil to garnish
- Cut tomatoes into quarters. Remove seeds and finely chop.
- Place pita pockets on a large oven tray. Spread with pizza sauce. Sprinkle with tomato. Crumble cheese slices over tomato.
- Cook in a hot oven (200C) for about 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Garnish with basil (optional). Serve hot or cold.
