A filling, healthy snack when you're on the go! These 4-ingredient Vegemite, cheese and tomato toasties are packed with Vitamin B, and the kids will love them!
- 8 slices sourdough bread (400g)
- ⅓ cup vegemite
- 8 tasty cheese slices
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- Spread four slices of sourdough evenly with Vegemite. Divide four of the cheese slices over sourdough. Top evenly with tomato and remaining cheese. Place remaining sourdough slices on top.
- Cook two sandwiches in a heated sandwich press for about 4 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
- Cut in half to serve.
Spread sourdough slices with Vegemite, as to your liking. Plan ahead — make and wrap sandwiches in baking paper and freeze. Cook in paper in a sandwich press from frozen. Try a toasted tortilla wrap — roll up wrap with filling.
