Delicious and sticky, put these chicken wings on the menu at your next cocktail party. Baked in honey, soy sauce and pale ale, they're just delicious!
- 1.5 kg chicken wings
- ¼ cup cornflour
- 1 cup pale ale
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
- Toss chicken, in three batches, in cornflour in a shallow dish. Arrange in a single layer in a large roasting pan lined with baking paper.
- Combine beer, sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic powder and salt in a jug. Mix well. Pour over chicken. Toss well to coat.
- Cook in a hot oven (200C), turning halfway through, for about 50 minutes, or until chicken is cooked. Remove from oven.
- Toss chicken in the roasting pan to coat in sauce. Serve immediately.
For an extra spicy kick, add dried chilli flakes to the beer mixture.
